The CBC featured a satirical video made by Egg Studios highlighting the environmental impact of Keurig K-Cups.
The reality is that K-Cups are bad for the environment and there are many alternatives that are low-impact. According to Keurig’s website, the company sold more than 30 billion K-Cups between January 2014 and September 2014.
“We had K-Cup, Keurig machines in our offices and we quickly realized that there was a lot of waste. Those pods aren’t recyclable and Halifax has arguably one of the best recycling programs in the country,” said Egg Studios’ Mike Hachey.

It’s a funny video and we hope it gets a lot of traction online.
